Elizabeth was born and raised in Queens New York, a sea of cultural diversity that strongly influenced her interest in world teachings. Elizabeth moved North to complete a dual major in Women, Gender and Sexuality Studies and Italian Studies at SUNY New Paltz. It was in the breathtaking landscape of Upstate, New York Elizabeth learned into to heal as part of, and in reverence to, the natural world.
Elizabeth's interest in holistic health and native healing arts led to a Yoga Therapy certification through the SomaVeda® College of Natural Medicine: Thai Yoga Center. Elizabeth's private practice in Yoga Therapy focuses on client cultivation of radical self awakening by emphasizing physical, emotional and mental awareness for optimal health. Elizabeth teaches clients traditional yogic wisdom that makes sense for modern Western living they may incorporate into their daily lives, mainly through the innovative merging of practices rooted within both Traditional Thai Ayurveda and Western Herbalism.
Elizabeth gains inspiration from time spent in nature and is a constant student by way of constant teaching. Elizabeth also serves as a long standing Wilderness Educator for Wild Earth, where hyr focus is on sharing skills in wildcrafting and herbalism, natural crafts and woodworking. Elizabeth leads classes, workshops and trainings in yoga and nature education all over the world, yet hyr regular stomping grounds remain within the mountains of Upstate NY.
